Overview
The Advanced Legacy & Estate Planning Practitioner (ALEPP) certification is a practitioner-focused programme for professionals who want to move beyond understanding estate-planning concepts towards applying them in client cases.
Participants learn a structured approach to analysing client circumstances, identifying estate-planning gaps and developing coherent planning strategies.
The programme explores how wills, nominations, trusts, LPAs, ownership structures, succession considerations and other planning tools may interact within more complex client circumstances.
Case discussions require participants to consider not simply what planning tools exist, but when they may be relevant, why they are being considered and how different components of the estate plan work together.
ALEPP also develops participants' understanding of the respective roles of financial advisers, estate planners, lawyers and other professionals when moving a case from planning towards implementation.
Participants who successfully complete the assessment will receive the Advanced Legacy & Estate Planning Practitioner (ALEPP) certification from Mezzanine Institute.

Delivered in collaboration with Mezzanine Legacy.
